Contemporary Dance features modern dance poses both on the stage and off; highlighting the elegant beauty and striking strength of the dancers. These images capture my interest in the human body’s form, from its fluid motion to the lines and shapes created when still. Each dance move is very precise, with pointed toes and arched backs, however it still remains free-flowing and graceful, leaving a captivating impression. I am inspired by the poise in my friends as they dance and express themselves, and each of my images focuses on the artistry and control of each pose. My friends in these images inspire me with their passion, and I have loved sharing in that passion.
